Unity Works lies at the heart of Wakefield, a grade II listed gem, it has been used and loved by the community since it was established as the Wakefield Co-operative headquarters in 1867.

Unity House was established as a community benefit co-operative in 2011 to turn the building into a major music venue, conference centre and location for creative businesses.

Working closely with Triton Construction and the community group Alusec transformed the splendour of the stained glass windows to the main stage area and bringing the building to life.

Alusec also installed a 85m2 atrium roof system to allow a light and spacious office & meeting place.

Space will be let to ambitious entrepreneurs at all levels of affordability, from hot-desk space to high spec, fully furnished offices.
