	Building a contemporary new entrance and social hub to Chesterfield College campus which leads into a new, modern reception space and student services area created by refurbishing the existing hall. This new entrance space will be further complimented by a fresh new look to part of the existing library. This in turn leads into a new ‘social heartspace’ created by covering the existing external courtyard with a lightweight roof. A college spokesman said: “The development of our Infirmary Road campus will give both current and new students a fantastic, modern space in which to use the extensive services we offer." “The large, contemporary entrance will house not just services such as student support and financial advice, personal counselling and local employment opportunities but will also provide a social hub in which students can meet friends and study.”
